Maddie’s breakfast this morning? Horse poop buffet in the park - yum! Not sure why, but all the dogs were into it. No pics, was too busy chasing her to “drop it”. She (we) will be paying for that later.
Maddie is dreaming of A) chasing birds in the park, B) eating an entire cooked chicken, C) meeting Cesar Millan and tell him to “SCHHHT”

Maddie’s Valentine’s Day present to me…a nice little turd in the kitchen. Two steps forward, one step back!
Was waiting for Maddie to pee in her usual spot outside our building this morning (she likes to pee on a grate, so it’s essentially a port-a-potty?) and elizabeth (elisabeth?) hasselbeck (hasselback?) walked right by! yes i’m bragging about a D-list celebrity sighting. not much else to do while waiting for her to do her business

We have signed Maddie up for Puppy classes starting Feb 21st! This will help in training and socializing her. According to class instructions, “You will need a treat pouch that attaches to your waist or a fanny pack to put your training treats.” Will this work?
We are thinking of creating a sign in Maddie’s play area that is like the ones they have in warehouses: X days since last accident. Ours sadly has been reset to 0. Slowly but surely we will get there….
Has Maddie pooped yet today? These are the kinds of questions running through my head….! Who know one could be so consumed with dog poop and pee thoughts.
She’s peed in the lobby by accident twice now…oops. Now we have to be sure to carry her in and out of the building…sorry lobby guys, extra holiday bonus this year?
I’ve left a 1 1/2 page rambling hand-scrawled, sleep-deprived note as well as 6 text messages to the new dog-player Michael (yes I’m literally paying someone to play with a puppy, how do I get that job?) - I’ve become that crazy new dog owner.
